Carla is a leading international trade lawyer in Brazil, with more than 20 years of professional experience. She graduated from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP. She holds PhD degrees on Economic Law both from Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and from University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne. She also holds a Master’s Degree on Economic Law from University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne. Carla is specialized in Economic Law and assists clients in Trade Remedy Proceedings, WTO Law, Antitrust Law, Compliance and Anticorruption, customs procedures and regulatory cases. Carla is current Vice-Chair of the Latin America and of the International Trade Committee of the American Bar Association (ABA) and of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA), as well as Chair of the IASP International Trade Studies Committee. She is listed as leading lawyer in the legal directories of Chambers & Partners, Latin Lawyer, Legal 500, Who's Who Legal, Best Lawyers and Practical Law. Carla was also included in the Brazilian list of panelists of the WTO Dispute Settlement System.
